Last week was a whirlwind of excitement as our team packed up and headed back to Chicago for the highly anticipated LAVA event – the Chicago Race Day and CX/CCaaS Panel! Can you believe we traveled for hours just to film a three-hour event? But you know what? We do it because we absolutely love what we do! LAVA’s description of the event got us so pumped. I mean, who wouldn’t be thrilled about high-speed racing and insightful discussions on the future of customer experience and contact center solutions? We were so eager to be there, capturing every inspiring moment.
You know Billy, right? Our adventurous team member? Well, he had this great idea of rollerblading through downtown Chicago to soak in the city’s vibe. But guess what? His skates had different plans, and they broke midway through his rollerblading adventure! But, true to Billy’s spirit, he turned it around and enjoyed a leisurely walk, exploring the bustling cityscape and discovering some hidden gems along the way. And then there was Sara! She got a chance to catch up with her high school friend during her free time. They had a blast reminiscing about old times, laughing together, and they even decided to attend a live music show! It was the perfect mix of reconnecting with a friend and experiencing the vibrant Chicago music scene.
Even though our free time was limited, we also have an adventure outside of our work. We were surrounded by the adrenaline-fueled atmosphere and the roaring engines of those race cars! Witnessing and recording the panel was the first task of the day — recording the discussion of cutting-edge technology with passionate professionals. Filming at a race car event was such an incredible opportunity, something that doesn’t come our way every day.Capturing the cars and the adrenaline was a great way to end our day!
Honestly, it never felt like work to us. LAVA’s appreciation for their sponsors struck a chord with us because we feel the same way about our clients and partners. As we packed up and headed home after the event, we had an hour to kill before the airport — so Billy and Sara went to Target!
