Sara Headshot 1 2 scaled

In the end of October 2021, SkipperFilms welcomed Sara Wolfley onto the team as a Video Editor. Sara finished her degree in Film and Video Studies at George Mason University, winning multiple awards for her editing skills. Throughout her time in grade school and college, Sara always wanted to be in a creative team. Her journey of being in musical theatre turned her attention to how important storytelling is. Throughout the COVID-19 Pandemic, she worked for George Mason University’s social media team and witnessed with the rest of the world how everything moved online.

As Sara left college she was thrilled to have an opportunity with a company in the DMV area. Sara continues to want to be able to give back to the community. In Summer of 2021 she interned at Loudoun Museum creating a Then/Now photo series of Loudoun County. She has also helped with video content creation for a few local theatre companies in the area. She hopes to continue learning with any experience she encounters and will always want to bring a fun energy on every project for Skipper films.

She explains that working for SkipperFilms is a dream come true. She started following them in 2019, and since then she has always hoped to be a part of their team. Fast forward to January and she is living the best life! She gets to come work for an amazing videography company, is around amazing teammates, and gets to have an amazing office with unlimited tea and chocolate. She cannot wait for the many adventures and what 2022 will bring!

WELCOME SARA!
