Happy New Year!!

Well, well ,well… Here we are again, at the dawn of a new, hopeful year. 2016 was a roller coaster for a lot of reasons and for a lot of people, but a trait and mindset we try to promote in everything we do, is positivity in the face of negativity. It’s a sign of any good marketing or PR firm; You have to be able to recognize the best traits in people, businesses, families, situations and events in order to capture it all on film. So even though we would like to look at 2016 as a mulligan due to some bad luck, we like to still see it as SkipperFilms’ best year to date. Our company, quality, client base and team grew big, and aggressive, and it’s hard for anything to spoil that celebration.
We’ve produced some of our best work this year, with some of our favorite clients in both Corporate Video Production and some of the most STUNNING Wedding Films we’ve created. We even made our first viral video! We’re over the moon with how great life is right now. Everything we do makes us feel all warm and tingly inside, because we’re working with great people with fun personalities, interesting businesses, loads of passion in their hearts, and it’s all just very rewarding to us.

Throughout the year, we brought on Brian Belida as a vital part of our core team. Brian has been on almost every shoot this year, as either DP, Camera Operator, or at the very least, Editor. As the company grows, we can’t see a way to have gotten where we are without his massive contributions as my right hand man! You rock, Brian!!

We also have Amanda Bowen working on a more official basis for Wedding Film edits, which has been a huge part expanding out attentions to more and more projects while keeping quality at peak levels! Thanks, Amanda!!

Whatever happens in life, and no matter how dark life seems to get, just know that you are in complete control of your own happiness and success. Ring in 2017 with a smile on your face, love in your heart, and positivity running through your veins. We thank each and every one of you, whether you’re a client, friend or supporter. We love each and every one of you to no end!
