Nestled right in the heart of Baltimore, Notre Dame of Maryland University (NDMU) boasts a campus that’s nothing short of a historical treasure! This past summer, we teamed up with the fantastic folks at NDMU for a pretty exciting project. Our journey kicked off in mid-August, as we set foot on this stunning campus for our first day of filming. We had no clue that the days ahead would be jam-packed with inspiring stories and some seriously breathtaking shots. Our mission at the start was to get in touch with the vibrant student community and capture their buzz for the upcoming semester, complete with brand-new labs and thrilling opportunities. Chatting with these bright minds during interviews was a blast, and their infectious passion for learning and excitement for the academic journey ahead left us totally inspired.
But, you know, the soul of any university lies in its character. So, with our cameras and a keen eye for the finer details, we strolled into those revamped classrooms. Our goal? To capture not just the bricks and mortar but the very spirit that fills the spaces. Each shot, each frame, was like a nod to NDMU’s commitment to creating a nurturing and enriching environment for its students.Fast forward a month, and we’re back at NDMU, ready to put the final touches on our film. This time around, our focus was on the dedicated professors who play such a crucial role in shaping NDMU students’ futures. Watching these educators in action was a real treat. Their passion for teaching lit up the room as they engaged their students in lively discussions and shared knowledge that’s bound to stick with them for life.
The best part of our return visit? Seeing those once-empty classrooms bursting with life. Eager students soaking up wisdom and knowledge like sponges, turning those spaces into hubs of intellectual curiosity and personal growth.As we wrap up our project and dive into the editing phase, we’re buzzing with a sense of accomplishment and gratitude.
