Here is our behind-the-scenes adventure as the SkipperFilms team embarked on a two-day film project with HBW Construction. Our mission was to authentically capture the essence of HBW, from their construction zones to their bustling office in Rockville, MD, and create a brand video that showcases their exceptional work and unwavering dedication.
Day one we stepped into the construction zones, and quickly learned how of HBW treats their clients and employees. Our first interview with an intern revealed a company that not only creates remarkable spaces but also deeply cares for their employees. The intern’s excitement and enthusiasm painted a vivid picture of HBW as a construction company like no other. As we roamed around different areas in Arlington, we had the privilege of interviewing diverse employees, discovering their expertise, and witnessing the meticulous craftsmanship that underpins HBW’s projects.
On the second day, we had access to HBW’s office in Rockville, Maryland. Here, we delved into the personal journeys of the talented individuals who form the fabric of HBW Construction. Their genuine love for their work and heartfelt commitment to the company were palpable. Carrying around our equipment, we captured multiple interviews that conveyed the deep sense of fulfillment and pride that comes with being part of the HBW team. And of course, we couldn’t resist indulging in the delicious Mac and Cheese cook-off during lunch, which will also be shown in the video!
As our two-day journey came to a close, we gave our construction hats back and wrapped up the shoot. The next step on this exciting venture involves diving into the editing process, where we will transform our footage into a captivating brand video that truly encapsulates the spirit of HBW Construction.
